Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about accounts, messaging limits, and integrations.

Getting Started

wahgreat.com is an un-official WhatsApp API provider and gateway for sending and receiving messages. If you want to contact customers via WhatsApp or build your own solution — a CRM, an ERP system, a chatbot, or anything else — it's built for exactly that.

Register on the site with your WhatsApp number, then activate a monthly or annual subscription. After that, go to the Account section, click the play button to start your instance, and scan the QR code to connect your WhatsApp number.

You can use either WhatsApp Business or a personal WhatsApp account — the service supports both.
Account & Numbers

Yes — you can send messages using your own WhatsApp number.

No — WhatsApp on your phone doesn't need to be online all the time. You do need to open WhatsApp on your phone at least every 14 days, otherwise you'll have to reconnect it from your user panel.

Yes — you can change your WhatsApp number at any time from the Accounts → Instance Management menu.

We prioritize stability and safety, with a 99.9% server uptime target, fast updates when issues come up, and 24/7 customer support.
Sending Messages

wahgreat.com handles quite a lot: sending all types of files and messages over WhatsApp, automatically creating and managing instances, setting up webhooks and event notifications, and more.

No — we don't recommend sending more than 250 messages a day from a single number or instance. Bulk sending increases the chance recipients mark your messages as spam, which can get your number blocked. Only message your own customers, and keep messages to things they're expecting — reminders, OTPs, subscription updates — not spam or unsolicited ads.

No — use this service only to send interactive messages your customers are expecting. If you send mass messages, spam, or anything against WhatsApp's rules, we're not responsible for your account or number getting blocked.

When you connect multiple WhatsApp numbers, outgoing messages are automatically distributed between them. For example, with 5 connected numbers and a request to send 5,000 messages, 1,000 messages go out from each number. This significantly reduces the risk of any single number being blocked.
API & Integration

Yes — an API key tied to a WhatsApp number can be used without limit, connected to as many websites or software integrations as you need.

Yes — if your plan supports multiple instances, you can scan and connect multiple WhatsApp numbers.
